Thomas Ratel

Thomas J. Ratel is a Legal Counsel at Chevalier & Sciales. He holds a B.A. in International and European Law from Toulouse Law School, a Postgraduate Degree in Business Law from Pantheon-Sorbonne Law School (Paris I), a MSc in Banking and Corporate Finance from Toulouse Business School (ESC) and a Certificate in American Law from Columbia Law School.

Before joining Chevalier & Sciales, Thomas J. worked for major law firms, investment banks and companies in Europe, including Cyprus. His main practice areas include structured finance and securitization, capital markets, investment funds and corporate law.

He is a native French speaker and is fluent in English.
