Some recently handled matters

  • Acted as counsel in a Luxembourg true-sale securitization transaction of a portfolio of US Life Settlements, Premium finance loans and ILITs for institutional investors (value of the transaction approx. 300 M USD – 2009);
  • Acted as counsel in Luxembourg synthetic securitization transactions of total return swap agreements (value of the overall transactions approx. 500 M USD – 2009);
  • Represented defrauded institutional, hedge fund and high net worth investors in Maddoff related litigation (2009 – 2010);
  • Assisting a client who was contemplating to launch a takeover bid on a major Luxembourg real estate corporation.
